Opera is kind of awesome to shoot due to the fact that everything is super exaggerated. They aren’t just singing, they’re belting out the words in a thick Italian accent with every syllable over-pronounced to the point of being totally incomprehensible at points. Most of my photos from Il Mondo della Luna consist of singers with their mouths open so wide that I fear they may soon leap out from the computer and starting chewing the tendons out of my neck. This may just be because I’m overtired and in a coffee haze right now, but whatever.

I’m posting this photo in particular not because it is the best or most newsworthy shot, but because it is (in my opinion) the most ridiculous. All I want to do is caption it with, “AHHHH, WHITE CLOTH, AHHHHHH!”
